WHO WE ARE

We believe in the power of community and connection, not correction.

In 2023. Thugs Need Hugs inc. was born inside of four concrete walls, but it was never meant to stay there.

It came from the simple realization, that people do not need to be fixed.

Too often people are judged instead of understood. Children grow into adults with wounds that they never chose. Navigating systems that are quick to label but slow to listen.

Survival becomes stigma.

Mistakes become identities.

The tools that people need to heal, grow, and move forward aren't always accessible.

We are the misfits, the marginalized, and the misunderstood. We are the artists, the hustlers, the dreamers. We are everyday people learning to be open in a closed off world.

TOUGH ON THE OUTSIDE, HUMAN ON THE INSIDE

The bear isn't just a logo. It's the whole point.

Some of the people I've had the privilege of sitting with — people the world walks past, crosses the street to avoid, writes off before they open their mouths — those same people have looked me in the eye and told me the darkest moments of their lives. And walked away a little lighter.

Rough on the outside doesn't mean broken on the inside. It usually means the opposite.

The bear wears a crown because you were never less than. One eye full of heart, because love is still in there — even when life has tried its hardest to convince you otherwise.

This is bigger than clothing

Thugs Need Hugs is a movement rooted in emotional healing, creative expression, and community connection. We believe that love is not soft or passive. Love builds people back up.

We make wearable reminders for the moments that people forget who they are.

More than a brand — a movement. We're here to create something that matters with quality and care.

To remind us that love belongs in all spaces.
